The Pedro’s Pro bearing removal system is the ultimate solution for the growing number of standard threaded bottom brackets flooding the market. This innovative and efficient system, with a patent pending, easily adapts to current and future bottom bracket tool needs.

At the heart of the system is a socket designed to hold bottom bracket adapters with a secure magnetic connection, allowing quick and easy changes with a satisfying click. As new bottom bracket standards emerge, additional inserts can be easily added, allowing mechanics to expand their tool collection economically and efficiently.

The system is completed by an optional support that threads directly into the cup. This crucial component prevents the socket from slipping or pressing the bottom bracket further in, crushing it and reducing the risk of injury or frame damage.

In 1989, the Pedros brand was born around a new, revolutionary chain lubricant called Syn Lube. Mountain bikers in the Pacific Northwest couldn’t find a lubricant that would last an entire race in muddy conditions, and Syn Lube quickly became the lubricant of choice thanks to its unique combination of synthetic oil, staying power and detergent ingredients. Once mountain bikers tried Syn Lube, experienced its performance and spread the word, demand soared and the Pedros brand was officially race-ready.

With the mountain bike boom of the 90s, the New England-based Pedro’s brand grew rapidly over the next six years, introducing Syn Grease, Syn Lube Road, Bio Degreaser, Bike Lust polish, Extra Dry lubricant, Oranj Peelz degreaser and a small line of accessories made from recycled plastics, including Milk levers, the Milk rack and grips. As if that weren’t enough, the brand also launched its famous grassroots support program, race service program and mountain bike festival support. The brand’s roots in cycling had been firmly established, and a cult following emerged. People loved Pedros for its customer focus, grassroots support and laid-back nature. Another aspect embraced by fans was Pedro’s eco-friendly products... although if you’d asked us at the time, we would have said that wasn’t necessarily the goal—we were just happy people liked them!

In 2000, Pedro’s added a full line of professional-quality tools, uniquely positioning itself as a comprehensive bicycle care brand. The additional products further supported the grassroots support program and Pedro’s Racing Service, and Pedro’s supported 375 grassroots riders and 60 events each year.
