New evolution of the highly imitated Big Eyes concept, now applied through an advanced assembly system that achieves a frame with a minimum thickness (6 mm) and significantly lightens the weight of the mask to only 175 g with strap included. The frame no longer requires a frame to fix the crystals that increased the thickness of the mask, but rather it is the main shell itself that surrounds and presses the facial on the crystals, assembling the mask.
The reduced structure of the frame and the "flat" adaptation facial allow a great approximation of the lenses to the eyes without problems of contact with the frame. Therefore, the internal volume is reduced to an absolute minimum and any view of the central area of the frame from the inside is cancelled. The lenses inclined at 15º and extended above the cheekbones increase lower visibility by more than 30% compared to that of a traditional mask, while upper and lateral visibility are increased to the limit allowed by the thickness of the frame itself: vision total - 5% in superior visibility and total vision -10% in side visibility.
The structural rigidity of the central bridge has been particularly studied to prevent the loss of the plane of the crystals due to excessive tension of the strip, which could cause optical distortions.
The upper and side area of the frame has some attractive thermoplastic rubber inserts which, unlike what it may seem at first glance, are not assembled parts, but are the result of the injection of two different materials at the same time by means of a very advanced technology that until today was only used in high-tech components such as the keys of mobile phones.
Matrix incorporates a new system of buckles integrated into the frame itself and they are oriented in the correct direction of the tension of the strap. The buckle is therefore highly protected from possible knocks. Only the button itself protrudes to the outside, which allows a very precise regulation of the voltage. The completely redesigned strap has a larger support area and is flexible yet strong at the same time.
