Smart trainers direct drive

Smart trainers wheel-on

Software-controlled wheel-on rollers (with the rear wheel installed). More economical. Wahoo Snap, Tacx Flow Smart.

Fluid rollers

Fluid trainers without electronics, with progressive resistance by viscous fluid. Saris Fluid 2, Kurt Kinetic Road Machine.

Magnetic rollers

Manual resistance adjustable magnetic rollers. More economical, no electronics. CycleOps Magneto, Decathlon Triban.

Free wheels

Classic rollers with 3 free drums. Require cyclist's balance. Useful for improving pedaling technique.

Integrated smart trainer bicycle

Smart trainer bikes integrated with handlebar, saddle and pedals. Wahoo Kickr Bike, Tacx Neo Bike Smart.

Compatible software
