Battlax BT 016 Pro



The front and rear wheels of the new Battlax BT 016 Pro feature the well-known Bridgestone multi-layer compound technologies.



Both wheels are equipped with two different rubber compounds in the 3LC (three-layer compound) process:

The compound in the middle of the tread ensures a good transmission of the braking force on the front wheel or for high traction and mileage on the rear wheel, the rubber compound on the shoulder of the tire is responsible for maximum grip in a tilted position.

The rubber compounds used on the BT 016 Pro have been completely rebuilt, giving the BT 016 Pro better grip in the wet while increasing mileage.

The "Silica Rich EX" (higher silica content in the mix) and "RC Polymer" technologies are used. The "RC polymer" supports the effect of silica and at the same time controls the temperature-dependent change of the rubber compound.

Front and rear wheel construction is based on Bridgestone's proven High Tension Super Penetrated Cable (HTSPC) platform with steel belt MSB (Mono Spiral Belt).

Thanks to this structure, the control of the slides and the fidelity of the line are optimized in curves, without having to give up good shock absorption.



The increased stiffness of the construction helps maintain a consistent contact patch and stability at high speeds. The profile of the Battlax BT 016 Pro was unchanged compared to the BT 016.
