The DT-New-Aero® spoke is 2mm thick at the head and thread, making it particularly suitable for heavy loads and heavier riders. A complex flat forging process makes the center part of the spoke at 3.3mm. This process further increases the strength of the material while at the same time creating optimal aerodynamic properties for stable road bike wheels thanks to their flat shape.
