The experience developed in competition has led us to the creation of a special Racing automatic variator.
With a variator of such technical sophistication, don't be surprised if your scooter gains acceleration, linearity of shifting, greater mechanical "quietness" at high speeds and consistency of performance unknown in the base version.
THE NEW MULTIVAR MHR DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY MODIFICATION TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL.

TECHNICAL NOTES: The variator kit includes a 99.5 mm diameter movable half-pulley made of a special die-cast aluminum alloy. The contact surface between the pulley and the belt has been super-polished with a diamond tool, ensuring a constant and precisely calculated coefficient of friction to prevent belt slippage and premature wear. To accommodate the numerous adjustments required in a racing environment, depending on the various tracks and engine setups, the kit includes two sets of six rollers. Also included is a counter-rotating (racing) spring made of pre-hardened chromium-silicon alloy steel. Additional springs of the same type with different loads are available as options.

Calibration recommendations
The variator is supplied with two different sets of rollers: one of 3.9 grams and another of 4.7 grams, so that it is possible to vary the speed of the gear curve of your scooter, perfectly regulating its speed and acceleration.
Dekra Certification GmbH certifies that Malossi, in the production of complete variators – CVT groups, has introduced and effectively applies a quality management system in accordance with the standards required by German and international traffic laws (KBA).
