LUGGAGE RACKS & MOUNTING HARDWARE

Motorcycle luggage, trunk and accessory mounts and hardware

The mounts and hardware are the fixed parts that connect your motorcycle's chassis to the luggage (side bags, rear trunk, top case, luggage rack, TomTom or GPS platform). Without specific hardware for your model, a universal bag vibrates, does not center the weight and can cause loss of stability at high speed. In stock for the main systems: SW-MOTECH (PRO/EVO models), SHAD (3P, T7P models), Givi (Monokey/Monolock), KAPPA, GPR.

Quick-Release Systems

Modern mounts feature systems Quick-Release / Quick-Lock: press a button and the luggage releases from the mount in 2 seconds without a key. SW-MOTECH PRO uses double pin, SHAD uses side lever, Givi uses Monokey lock with key lock. Advantage: load/unload luggage at gas station or parking without dismantling the entire system.

Compatibility and maximum load

Always check model + year for your motorcycle in the manufacturer's catalog: SW-MOTECH 24 GPR-2 EVO fits BMW R1200GS Adventure 2014-2018 but not 2019+. Typical maximum load: side bag 10-12 kg each; rear trunk 5-10 kg (the higher the load, the more pendulum effect at speed). Always distribute lateral weight symmetrically (heavy objects at the bottom and centered).

Accessories: bottle cage, GPS, USB

On the same SW-MOTECH hardware, you can add a 4-7L fuel tank (Trax-Adv reserve), GPS-TomTom-Garmin mount, engine guard, radiator guard. Technical data compliant with EU Regulation 168/2013 and ISO 6739 motorcycle luggage systems.
