The big sister of the BA2 not only offers more space for all your gear, but also doubles your range thanks to the additional compartment for e-bike batteries. The battery is stored securely and firmly without slipping, making long day trips easier.

Compact backpack for all kinds of mountain use. Thanks to the (redesigned) “Adaptive Carrier System” load compression principle and the flexible aluminium profile, the backpack can be adapted more precisely to the cyclist’s anatomy. It includes a fixed action camera mount on the back, and the hip belt can be shortened as needed.

The backpack has a main compartment with 4 inner pockets, a separate hydration bladder, a front pocket with a small compartment for tools and pumps, and a compartment on the waist belt.

The BA2 E Protect model is designed for cyclists who also ride e-MTBs, as it offers enough space for a spare battery and plenty of clothing. The battery is stored securely and firmly without slipping, and the integrated back protector protects it in the event of a fall. Even when carrying the battery, the rear compartment has room for the back protector (BP100) and a hydration bladder (BH300). An optional Topeak® Drybag mount for iPhone® is available on the shoulder strap.

Battery storage: Play it safe
The battery holder is compatible with all common battery types. The BP100 back protector sits directly behind it, protecting the e-MTB rider from impact with the battery in the event of a fall.

                                                                                                                                                                               



Room for everything: organisational pockets and compartments
The backpack is divided into a main compartment with a fold-out inner pocket lined with fleece and a fleece-lined goggle pocket, as well as a battery holder, a large front pocket with compartments for 2 pumps, 4 small mesh pockets for tools, 2 larger zippered pockets and an elastic hip pocket. The additional pocket on the back of the BA2 has room for the back protector (BP100) and a hydration bladder (BH300).

                                                                                                                                                                         



Back protector included: Safety first
The ultra-light back protector (140 grams) is compatible with most Ergon backpacks. Its compact, flexible design allows quick movement without restriction. The BP100 conforms to the shape of the back and follows the cyclist’s movements. It consists of a three-layer construction of EPS laminated with foam for maximum safety, even on an electric mountain bike. Back padding: Comfortable and ventilated

Full-face helmet flap: Helmet compartment with camera mount
The Ergon BA2 E-Protect offers a compartment for full-face helmets and helmets with full-face visors. Waist belt: Extremely close-fitting
The wide waist belt secures the backpack ergonomically, preventing the shoulder straps from splaying outwards across the chest. The elastic strap has an additional compartment for keeping your mobile phone, keys and other small items close at hand. Adaptive Carrier System
The "Adaptive Carrier System" distributes the load compression ergonomically across the rider. This allows the backpack to adapt to the body during every MTB manoeuvre. The self-adjusting harness support pulls the lower part of the backpack over the shoulder straps, adapting it to the body and providing an ideal ergonomic fit for every rider’s anatomy. Ergonomic aluminium rail
The preformed, flexible aluminium rail allows the backpack to fit ergonomically against the back. Self-adjusting shoulder straps
The adjustable, freely moving Ergon shoulder straps adapt perfectly to each rider’s body shape. Special load compression ensures that the backpack stays securely in place, even in the lumbar area. GoPro® mount
An additional advantage of the BA2 E is its mount for an action camera. It provides an excellent position for capturing your most epic adventures. The chest mount for an action camera also lets you use a second camera. You won’t miss a single shot! Thanks to its aluminium D-rings, the construction is particularly robust.
