MOTUL 7100 4T 20W-50 is a high-performance lubricant for 4-stroke motorcycle engines with high-quality ester components and special additives for gear lubrication. Exceeds the requirements of motorcycle manufacturers such as: Harley Davidson, who specify an SAE 20W-50 viscosity. For engines that meet Euro-2, Euro-3, Euro-4 or Euro-5 requirements. JASO (Japanese Automobile Standards Organization) has developed its own standard for 4-stroke motorcycle engine oils with JASO T 903. The MA, MA1 and MA2 gradations facilitate the selection of motorcycle engine oils specially developed for wet clutches. JASO MA2 stands for the highest friction values and therefore optimum clutch compatibility when changing gears, during the acceleration phase and also at constantly high speeds.



Advantage:

- The low traction coefficient of the ester components reduces friction losses and improves overall performance.

- Ester components, together with the additive package, improve shear strength, wear protection, and engine and transmission life. This is documented by the excellent FZG test result (Forschungsstelle für Zahnräder und Getriebebau) of 14 FLS (Failure Load Stage). The lower the value, eg 1 FLS, the lower the wear protection, the higher the value, eg 14 FLS, the better the gearbox wear protection. This test can be used to determine if adequate lubricating film thickness between gears ensures reliable gearbox operation.

- The optimized content of sulfur and phosphorus guarantees the long-term operation of the catalysts.

- Prevents corrosion and contamination in the engine.

- For modern engine technology with wet clutch and gearbox lubrication in the same oil bath. The clutch does not bind or slip.

- High viscosity 20W-50 compensates for unburned fuel intake and allows for smoother shifting at high operating temperatures.
