Más información sobre destinos e impuestosThe Sephia BB is a mid-to-high-range EGI rod designed for squid fishing by Shimano’s Japanese experts. Exceptionally lightweight, with a moderately fast and forgiving action, the blank is made from Hi-Power X Carbon and has a sensitive tip. Pair it with the Sephia BB reel for an impressive combination.
Although squid fishing with EGI lures is a specialist technique, its popularity is growing throughout Europe. If you’re already into this exciting style of fishing, you’ll want a well-matched rod and reel setup, and that’s where the Sephia BB comes in. Developed in Japan by Shimano’s squid-fishing experts, the Sephia BB is a highly versatile rod. At 2.51m long with a moderately fast action, it is long and powerful enough to cast EGI lures to squid feeding at a distance, while retaining a soft tip for maximum lure action and bite detection.
Built with Shimano’s exclusive Hi-Power X carbon, the blank of the Sephia BB is remarkably lightweight, weighing just 100g, yet has the power to cast larger EGI lures over extreme distances. Despite its impressive casting performance, in keeping with all high-performance EGI rods, the Sephia BB has a moderately fast action combined with a sensitive tip and forgiving mid-section, providing the perfect balance of bite detection and fish-playing performance. To further enhance casting performance and rod action, it comes with lightweight Fuji Alconite K-type guides for their tangle-resistant properties. Equipped with a custom-designed Shimano reel seat and a split EVA handle, its performance and red/black graphics pair perfectly with the Sephia BB reel.
