LOCTITE 248 is a medium-strength threadlocking adhesive in stick format that is easy to apply and prevents dripping. It is suitable for all types of assemblies with metal threads.

LOCTITE® 248 is a general purpose, medium strength threadlocker. The product is available in a convenient bar format. This threadlocker secures and seals bolts, nuts and fasteners to prevent loosening due to vibration. The product is suitable for all metals, including those with passive surfaces, such as stainless steel, aluminum and galvanized surfaces. It is proven to be tolerant of slight contamination by industrial oils, eg motor oils, anti-corrosion oils and cutting fluids.

Its practical bar format prevents dripping.

Prevents self-loosening of vibrating parts, e.g. eg in pumps, gearboxes or presses.

Suitable for all metals, including passive substrates (eg stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized surfaces).

Tolerates light contamination from industrial oils, eg motor oils, anti-corrosion oils and cutting fluids.

Allows disassembly with hand tools.
