LOCTITE® 268 is a highly effective, high-strength threadlocker, ideal for securing and sealing screws, nuts and bolts, thus preventing loosening due to vibration. Recommended for permanent fixing of assemblies that do not require regular disassembly. It is supplied as a semi-solid, wax-like product, conveniently packaged in a stick applicator. Its convenient format makes it very practical and effective for overhead and vertical applications. Suitable for all metals, including passive substrates (eg stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized surfaces). It tolerates light contamination from industrial oils, for example anti-corrosion oils and cutting fluids.
