EBC Vee Rotor Brake Disc The steel used for the new EBC VR brake discs is a special stainless steel compound with a higher friction effect than conventional heat-treated stainless steel brake discs. They are made entirely of stainless steel, heat-treated, and provide the rider with optimal hardness. In addition to weight savings, brake disc cooling is essential. For optimal brake disc cleaning, the braking surface is perforated with a design that also saves weight. The fewer holes present, the better the wet braking performance and the less wear on the brake disc. The rider benefits from improved brake feel and response, as well as a longer brake disc lifespan due to the enhanced quality. The material is therefore resistant to wear and cracking.
