TEXA adapter cable for diagnosing motorcycle control units
3151/AP51 adapter cable for diagnosing and reprogramming SWM Euro 4 vehicles. The cable has two connectors: one 6-pin (line) and one 2-pin (power). For proper diagnosis/reprogramming, both connectors must be connected to the corresponding sockets/connectors on the vehicle. These sockets are not always located next to each other. In most cases, the socket with a locking cap is located near the battery or between the headlights and the dashboard. NOTE 1: Some model series are not equipped with a 2-pin power connector. In this case, it is necessary to connect cable 3151/AP55 (JM No. 6680352) to the 2-pin connector of cable 3151/AP51 to supply power to the diagnostic unit for diagnostics and reprogramming. Connect the terminals of cable 3151/AP55 to the vehicle battery. Refer to the connection instructions included with the software for assistance.
NOTE 2: This cable is not suitable for ABS diagnostics. For this, you need cable 3151/AP07 (JM no. 6680166) and test probe 7.
