Wide range of approvals and applications:

Mobil 1™ ESP 5W-30 is recommended for a wide range of passenger cars, SUVs and vans.
It has been developed for modern and highly efficient petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles from Porsche, BMW, Volkswagen, Opel and Mercedes-Benz, as well as for Japanese and Korean vehicles that expressly require an SAE 5W-30 viscosity class and all specifications compatible with this oil.
It allows for longer oil change intervals, if recommended by the manufacturer.
It is a low ash (Mid-SAPS) engine oil that helps protect exhaust aftertreatment systems to limit engine emissions.
It meets or exceeds the ACEA C3 industry standard and is suitable for the operation and protection of engines and aftertreatment systems of vehicles that require ACEA C2.
However, it only offers the fuel-saving potential required for the C3 classification, but not for the C2 classification.
Furthermore, Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 meets or exceeds the requirements of the "API SP" industry standard and thus contributes to protection against LSPI (low engine speed pre-ignition), making it the preferred choice for downsizing modern turbocharged direct injection petrol engines.
It is especially suitable for extreme conditions where conventional oils are often insufficient.
