MOTUL 7100 4T 5W40 is a synthetic multigrade 4-stroke oil with high-quality ester components and special additives for gear lubrication. Exceeds the requirements of motorcycle manufacturers such as: MV AGUSTA, BMW and APRILIA, which specify SAE 5W-40 viscosity for certain models. For high performance motorcycles, sports motorcycles, street motorcycles, trail motorcycles, off-road motorcycles, enduro, trial, quads, scooters, etc. with 4-stroke engines with or without integrated gearbox, wet or dry clutch. The JASO (Japan Automobile Standards Organization) has developed its own standard for 4-stroke motorcycle engine oils with JASO T 903. The MA, MA1 and MA2 gradations make it easy to select motorcycle engine oils have been specially developed for wet clutches. JASO MA2 stands for the highest friction values and therefore optimum clutch compatibility when changing gears, during the acceleration phase and also at constantly high speeds.



Advantage:

This is documented by the excellent FZG test result (Forschungsstelle für Zahnräder und Getriebebau) of 14 FLS (Failure Load Stage). The lower the value, eg 1 FLS, the lower the wear protection, the higher the value, eg 14 FLS, the better the gearbox wear protection. This test can be used to determine if adequate lubricating film thickness between gears ensures reliable gearbox operation.

- The optimized content of sulfur and phosphorus guarantees the long-term operation of the catalysts.

- Prevents corrosion and contamination in the engine.

- For modern engine technology with wet clutch and gearbox lubrication in the same oil bath. The clutch does not bind or slip.

- The mild viscosity allows rapid lubrication even in the starting phase, reduces critical wear at cold start and is excellently suited for hydraulic tappets.
