The PROGUARD SYSTEM® as a safety element, protects the rider's hand, preventing involuntary movement of the lever in the event of a collision and reducing the air pressure on the brake control even at high speed. In the event of a fall of the rider, this device allows the protection of the brake lever to be added that of the little finger. The end is characterized by a rounded shape to facilitate a quick exit of the hand in case of being thrown from above (high side). In addition to being a fundamental element for safety, the Proguard System® is also a design detail.
Technical information:
The extreme part of the Proguard System® Rizoma is made of Delrin®, and is replaceable, while the body for fixing the handlebar is made of aluminum machined from a solid block and Matt Black surface finish.
The combination of these two materials, with different mechanical properties, has been studied to improve the protective effect of the device.
An adapter is necessary for its assembly, verify the appropriate one for each motorcycle model. Kit includes: 1x M6x40 UNI5931 screw.
For the left side we recommend mounting the handlebar counterweight MA301B.
