It will be difficult to beat the new Cressi EVO, an exercise in design to the limit that improves the already excellent visibility in all directions of the MATRIX and reduces weight to 160 g and internal volume to 115 cm3, parameters typical of much smaller masks.
Identical in design to the EVO BIG EYES version, the CRYSTAL exclusively uses a new Crystal silicone exclusive to Cressi that brings long-awaited benefits to the industry:
Absolute transparency that provides a great interior luminosity, a fabulous aesthetic both as a product and once placed on the diver's face (especially to be valued in the case of underwater photography models)
Reduced tendency to yellow over time, 90% less than in other types of silicone due to its unique chemical composition
Silicone free of silicon chloride, a component that causes the traditional and cumbersome greasing of the lenses after the assembly of the mask and that must be eliminated to achieve correct use of the mask. Crystal silicone does not grease the goggle screen and therefore has no effect on the goggle's tendency to fogging.
The second silicone blend used for the inner lip of the skirt (shore 60) and the fastening strap differs from the standard model with an attractive silver color tone.

The outer profiles of a very, very soft silicone reinforced by increasing thickness in key areas, especially the sides (a critical area when very flexible compositions are used) and in the area in contact with the frame, provide unprecedented comfort.

Also noteworthy are the buckles, completely pivoting in all directions and attached to the frame by means of a flexible and unbreakable elastomer. The tension of the strip acts directly on the frame, maintaining the stability of the mask and bringing the glass as close to the eyes as possible.
The exceptionally reduced frame structure allows a great approach to the lenses without contact problems with the frame. Therefore, the internal volume is reduced to an absolute minimum and any view of the frame from the inside is annulled. The lenses inclined at 15º and extended above the cheekbones (“Big Eyes” system) increase lower visibility by more than 30% compared to that of a traditional mask, while upper and lateral visibility are increased up to the limit allowed by the frame's own thickness: Total Vision - 3% in top visibility and Total Vision -5% in side visibility.
The structural rigidity of the central bridge has been particularly studied to prevent the loss of the plane of the crystals due to excessive tension of the strip, which could cause optical distortions.
