Lexus, Mercedes, Nissan, Opel, Renault, Saab, Suzuki, Toyota, Volvo, etc.

By screwing on the compressed air adapter (or together with the appropriate adapter)

into the glow plug hole and blowing air into the combustion chamber prevents

That impurities enter the combustion chamber.

The flexible hose piece on the compressed air adapter also makes glow plug holes difficult to reach.
