Battlax T31

The special features of the new Battlax Sport Touring T31 are the improved performance in wet conditions and the maximum contact with the road. This allows the driver to feel more confident in any weather, while enjoying the fun and excitement of the ride.

Bridgestone's front tire uses advanced NanoPro-Tech™ technology, which provides higher levels of silica at the molecular level in the rubber compound. This not only improves the flexibility of the rubber, but also increases adhesion on a wide variety of surfaces, as well as in wet conditions and low temperatures.

At the rear, a 3LC rubber compound with a cap and base structure comes into play: the softer outer rubber compound provides exceptional grip, the inner compound is more stable and gives the tire optimal stiffness.

The tread pattern of the T31 has an increased number of tread grooves in the shoulder area, making it easier for water to drain. In the central region of the rear wheel there are only a few grooves. This guarantees stability, especially at high speeds. The contact area is also up to 7 percent larger, which provides an advantage in safety especially when taking advantage of it.
