The new MICHELIN Pilot Road 3 product line is aimed at cyclists on sports bikes.

The Pilot Road 3 offers great grip in virtually all conditions, especially wet and humid roads, while also achieving high mileage. Engineers at the Michelin Technology Center have developed a completely new tread technology for the tread area called X Sipe Technology (XST).

This technology works in two ways: First, the sharp-edged blades cut through the film of water on wet roads.

On the other hand, the widened grooves of the tread improve the discharge of water to the outside.
