The combination of high mileage and optimal wet grip when touring, as well as the high level of grip and steering precision when driving, make the new BT-023 the first choice for passenger cars of various weight classes.



Steady Driving Characteristics

The modern technologies used in the new BT-023 bring significant improvements compared to its predecessor, the Battlax BT-021. Significant improvements have been made, especially in mileage and wet grip attributes that are relevant to touring tires. But the BT-023 also meets the expectations that a sporty driver has of his tires.

The increased mileage and improved wet grip are achieved primarily through a newly designed profile and the use of new silica-rich rubber compounds.

The front and rear wheels of the BT-023 have Mono Spiral Belt (MSB) constructions that allow the BT-023 high self-damping, secure grip and the best straight-line stability on the highway. The 3-Layer Composite (3LC) rubber mix used in the rear wheel has a sticky mix on the shoulder of the tire and a more stable rubber mix in the middle of the tread. The result: a safe driving experience in all conditions.
