CDI NARAKU ignition unit without speed limitation. This component is required to disassemble the vehicle.
Kymco 4-stroke models are restricted via the CDI unit.
Bigbore cylinder kits increase horsepower and acceleration, but top speed does not increase to the desired extent.
But if you want to drive a few km / h faster, you need this CDI.
As of January 2009, it will be available as a further developed version V.2.
The ignition curve has been optimized and now realizes improved starting behavior and higher acceleration values.
Attention! On models with inductive speed sensing (eg Yager 50 GT), it may happen that the tachometer malfunctions.
This no longer shows the correct velocity value. There are no concerns about the ignition system and the engine.
This problem can be greatly reduced by the use of interference suppression spark plugs and spark plug connectors. But it cannot be ruled out at this time.
Only suitable for scooters with DC ignition system.
Note: You can determine if an AC or DC CDI is installed as follows.
- Disconnect the battery.
-Connect the ignition
-starts with Kickstarter
If the scooter is started, an AC CDI is installed.
If the scooter does not start, a DC CDI is installed.
