TWS - Tension Wrap System
We designed TENSIONE by creating 18 points of contact between the upper and your feet. Introducing the Tension Wrap System (TWS), a dynamic metatarsal system that hugs the metatarsal area of your feet from the instep to the arch for an optimal fit.
The Tension Wrap System allows for more controlled power transfer to the pedal. It secures the foot for total comfort throughout the pedal stroke.
Comfort and Superior
The shoe was developed with comfort in mind. The design is consciously minimalist, eliminating all hardware, plastic, and metal parts that create pressure points. The sophisticated lacing system allows UDOG to use superior materials that are softer and more comfortable compared to standard cycling shoes, minimizing seams. The upper is made of an innovative 3D technical mesh; the material is lightweight, soft, and breathable.
Laces
The laces have been carefully selected and tested to identify the best laces for a high-performance cycling shoe. Traditional laces tend to come loose while pedaling, which is why TENSIONE uses patented laces that are flat and compressed, firm and air-free, creating a rope-knot effect that guarantees the best fit from the most demanding critical races to the longest endurance rides.
SOLE
At our footwear foundation, we designed and developed a carbon and nylon composite outsole with a targeted ventilation channel, integrated rubber heel and toe cap for enhanced durability. A large metatarsal platform facilitates cleat engagement. Stiffness index 7.0
WEIGHT
The minimalist design of TENSIONE eliminates all plastic and metal parts and stitching, using the most advanced materials to create a product that is ultra-comfortable, supportive, and lightweight. As cyclists, we know how important weight is in all bike components, especially shoes. At 245 grams in size 42, TENSIONE is by far the lightest shoe in its category, helping you save at least 50 to 200 grams compared to traditional shoes at the same price.
