The Eagle Transmission GX derailleur is a lesser version of nothing. It offers everything an Eagle Transmission derailleur can offer, and then some. It features updated battery placement and a reconfigured gearbox to better protect itself from impacts. To maintain crisp shifting and striking looks over its lifetime, the derailleur’s parts can be replaced—both its skid plates and two-piece outer link, if needed—making this the most repairable derailleur we’ve ever made. It also features the first tool-free clutch and cage assembly, so it’s removable and upgradeable, too. With a steel inner cage adding even more robustness, it’s been designed for real-world riders. Like all Eagle Transmission derailleurs, it’s been designed with a first-of-its-kind Hangerless interface, which mounts around the wheel axle and makes direct contact with the cassette without the need for hanger. The new drivetrain derailleurs feature the same intuitive pairing and setup procedure as our Eagle AXS derailleurs. The revolutionary Full Mount attachment method creates a much stronger connection by clamping both sides of the frame.
