The XX Eagle Transmission radically changes the relationship between cassette and derailleur. Designed as integrated, interdependent drivetrain components, the T-shaped derailleur mounts around the wheel axle itself, contacting the cassette directly with a first-of-its-kind Hangerless interface. This revolutionary Full Mount attachment method creates a much stronger connection and anchors to both sides of the frame. The new derailleurs feature the same intuitive pairing and setup procedure as our Eagle AXS derailleurs. A fully integrated profile houses a replaceable chain guide for increased reliability in high-pressure environments. To improve efficiency, the tension pulley, called the Magic Wheel, keeps rolling even if it gets caught by any object, such as sticks or branches. In addition, the XX Eagle Transmission has the Overload Clutch, with very common maintenance and features that real bikers will appreciate.
