The XX Eagle Transmission derailleur radically changes the relationship between cassette and derailleur. Designed as integrated, interdependent drivetrain components, the T-Type derailleur mounts around the wheel axle itself, contacting the cassette directly with a Hangerless interface – a first for the bicycle industry. This revolutionary Full Mount attachment method creates a much stronger connection and anchors to both sides of the frame. The new Transmission derailleurs feature the same intuitive pairing and setup procedure as our Eagle AXS derailleurs. It has an integrated Overload Clutch profile, which dispenses with all the accessories to win. It accommodates common maintenance and is built to improve race day performance, coming with a Magic Wheel pulley that keeps spinning if it gets caught on an object or branch. What’s more, the XX SL Eagle Transmission derailleur also offers additional weight savings thanks to its carbon cage, replaceable outer link and B-Knuckle – all in a sleek black color.
