It is a ring made of polymeric material that is installed between the rim and the wheel cover, mainly to protect the rim from bumps and avoid the dreaded punctures caused by tire cuts.
HOW DOES IT HELP US?
In the case of Rebel Mousse, as it has a large contact surface, it gives the tire greater rigidity and stability, achieving better grip, especially on strong supports.
It will also allow you to ride with lower pressures, forgetting the flank and the fear of slipping, this translates into greater sensitivity to the terrain, greater traction going up and control going down.
HOW DOES THE MOUSSE WORK?
When our tire hits an obstacle, the mousse is compressed receiving the impact, thus avoiding the deformation of the rubber and the possible dent of the rim.
