Spacer(S)
The battery is equipped with one or more spacers, which are glued under the battery with the supplied adhesive strip, so that the battery fits exactly into the battery box.
Water resistant (W)
The battery is completely waterproof and will not be damaged when cleaning the bike with high pressure.
Replacing a standard lead acid battery with a JMT lithium ion battery can save up to 5 kg of weight, without any significant effort.
The following advantages speak in favor of JMT lithium-ion batteries:
- about 1/3 the weight of a comparable lead acid battery
- an unbeatable cost/weight ratio
- can be installed in any position, as it does not contain acid
- does not contain heavy metals
- balanced discharge/charge of all cells by means of the balancer
- fast charging with high charging current possible (up to 90% in 6 minutes)
- very low self-discharge (max. 5% per month)
- even at high temperatures it still performs well up to 60°C
- safe technology and long service life
Lead batteries can only use 30% of their capacity due to their specific characteristics,
while lithium ion batteries can use almost 100% of their capacity.
For this reason, the lithium versions of JMT batteries require only 1/3 the capacity of a comparable lead acid battery for the same starting power.
An integrated processor ("balancer") also ensures a uniform state of charge for all cells.
With the help of adapters, the dimensions of the lithium-ion batteries correspond to those of the original lead batteries.
In addition, the connections are identical, so the battery can be replaced in a few minutes without the need for further adjustment.
Please note that only suitable chargers can be used for charging. We recommend JMP chargers.

In no case should chargers be used that attempt to desulfate deeply discharged batteries below 10 volts with a voltage greater than 14.9 volts before actual charging begins.
The maximum charging voltage of 14.9 volts must never be exceeded.
The manufacturer guarantees a sufficient starting capacity down to -5 degrees Celsius.
TECHNOLOGY
JMT's lithium ion batteries use Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) as cathode material and employ the lithium polymer process in their manufacture.
Therefore, they cannot burst or explode during normal operation.
The technology and manufacturing process guarantee the highest level of safety for lithium batteries.
