Renthal Lock-On grips feature CNC aluminum locks, permanently integrated with the center core, providing maximum handlebar security in any situation. The integrated construction eliminates any movement between the grip section and the locking collars, which could otherwise move over time.

The grips are your key contact point in controlling your bike. Having a suitable grip to your individual demands is very important.

We developed the aramid resin compound to offer an extremely "sticky" feel, with excellent shock absorbing qualities. The aramid resin used in this compound greatly extends wear life, making it our most durable grip.

This Traction grip texture was designed to provide maximum control in all conditions. Traction's added mechanical grip means you stay in control, no matter what the weather throws at you.

Forward-Facing Angled Finger Grooves:

When pulling back on the handlebars, most of the grip and torque is in your fingers. Forward-facing slanted grooves in the toe area provide increased grip when pulled back, but lie flat under normal riding conditions, for increased comfort.

Rear-facing angled palm serrations:

When braking or going downhill, most of the torque and grip is concentrated in the palm of your hand. Rear-facing angled grooves provide better grip in this situation. It also provides a large and comfortable surface for the palm in normal driving conditions.

Consistent texture:

The grooves are uniform throughout the width of the grip, to adapt to driving in any position. Whether smack in the middle or toe of the hand, the extra traction is just as effective.

Open Cuff Features:

Driving in extreme conditions, crashes are unavoidable, which can cause the grip to become muddy. We designed these grips to have open-cuff characteristics, allowing mud to be pushed off the ends with ease.

Displaced Grip Material:

For added comfort, the grip material under the palm area has been increased to provide better cushioning. The thinner grip material is used under the finger area to maintain the same overall outside diameter.

Ultra Tacky Grip Compound:

Renthal Lock-On Grip Aramid is the most advanced grip compound available. The base material contains millions of randomly aligned Kevlar® aramid resin particles. As the grip is used, more of the aramid resin is exposed, which resists wear and retains a soft, tacky feel.
