What is Mullet and why?

Mullet refers to the mix of wheel sizes on the same bike, 29” at the front and 27.5” at the rear.

Since the UCI allowed mixing wheels of different sizes on the same bike, many brands have joined this trend.

- More agile: A smaller rear wheel allows you to turn faster in order to better avoid obstacles or draw curves, it is also much more resistant to the blows it receives.

- Accelerates faster: Yes, a smaller wheel accelerates faster, on the other hand, a larger one maintains inertia better. So the mix of the two is perfect.

It's all advantages, having a 29" front wheel that helps you pass obstacles more easily and pulls you in the fast sections.

The 27.5" wheel makes you very agile on difficult trails and can quickly accelerate the bike when you need it.
