The Crossmax SL S is a lightweight alloy wheelset that does it all. Engineered with a specific rim profile that combines a 25mm internal width and our patented ISM 4D technology, this wheelset can boost your bike's performance at a price point that's more accessible compared to carbon wheel options. The ISM 4D process machines the rim in areas of lower stress to reduce weight without compromising strength. The rim also features our Black Shield technology, which protects against scratches and dents so you can tackle the demands of challenging terrain and rough trails. The rims are designed with our patented Fore technology, featuring a fully sealed upper rim bead that eliminates the need for rim tape. This saves 30 grams per wheel, not to mention the hassle associated with rim tape when setting up tubeless tires. The new Infinity hub is lighter and features a new spoke pattern that increases stiffness for improved power transfer, and the Instant Drive 360 dual-ratchet freehub provides quick engagement. The rear hub is compatible with optional Shimano HG9, Micro Spline, and SRAM XD freehubs. The Crossmax SL S is available with Center Lock or 6-bolt brake rotors in 29" only.
