This versatile carbon road wheel is ideal for cyclists looking for the perfect balance of weight, aerodynamics and efficiency. New spokes and hubs give the Cosmic SL 45 Disc a light, lively feel for climbing and accelerating.

The rim is designed with a 45mm deep and 26mm wide NACA rim profile, specifically engineered for all-round performance on flat or rough terrain. The new rim base shape makes mounting tubeless or tubeless tires even easier. UST Tubeless means tubeless, so there''''s no friction, and more air volume means a smoother ride. The result is a faster ride with very low rolling resistance. Optimized spokes make this wheelset 80g lighter than its predecessor, the Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc. Combined with our new Infinity hub platform, which provides a faster feel and quicker response through every corner, they''''re stiffer and more efficient.

This Cosmic SL 45 Disc has been specifically designed for disc brakes, optimizing the number of spokes and spoke tension. Available only in Center Lock version, they are compatible with 12mm thru-axles and can be converted to quick release using the supplied adapters. They are available for Shimano or SRAM XD-R cassettes, and can be converted to Campagnolo via an optional freehub.

These wheels are designed, manufactured and patented by Mavic in Annecy, France, and are 100% handcrafted in our European carbon factory.
