The new Crossmax Carbon XL R has everything you need to be your faithful companion in all your terrain explorations. When it comes to carbon MTB wheels, there is something that is too stiff. That''''s why the Crossmax Carbon XL R rim was developed around a low-profile shape that produces just enough vertical compliance to smooth ride quality without compromising the ability to climb and turn efficiently and precisely. The rims feature an asymmetrical shape and 30mm width, designed to perfectly fit and optimize the performance of any modern trail tire. The outer carbon layer features our UD² construction for a distinctive look and increased durability.

We used 24 straight pull spokes to further fine-tune the ideal mix of lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. Infinity hubs feature a stiffer, lighter construction enhanced by the ultra-reliable ID 360 dual ratchet system for fast engagement. Weighing just 1590g, it''''s a wheelset that lets you forget about the road and find your groove. It''''s available with Center Lock or 6-bolt rotor mounts, and is compatible with Shimano HG9, SRAM XD and Micro Spline freewheel freehubs. The Crossmax XL R is available in 29" and comes with UST tubeless valves, spare spokes and accessories.
