Developed with input from top pro cyclists looking for a competitive edge in the World Cups and Olympics, it features an ultralight 29" full carbon rim (360g) for fast acceleration and climbing without compromising stiffness and stability. the durability.

Adaptive Laminate specific carbon layup technology allowed us to hand-engineer these carbon rims with less material between the spokes. The spoke holes are reinforced with strategically placed layers of carbon in a process that minimizes weight without compromising stiffness and strength. A lighter tire means quicker acceleration, more efficient climbing, and immediate response on the ground. The outer carbon layer features our UD² construction for a distinctive look and increased durability.

Extensive field testing with our pro riders determined that a 25mm inner width was ideal for fast, precise ride quality and optimized tire grip on fast tracks. For more technical trails, some prefer a 30mm width for more control, so we''''ve created two options. We leave it to your choice, and you can combine both if you want. You could choose the Crossmax Ultimate 25 for the rear to boost acceleration and efficiency, and the Crossmax Ultimate 30 for the front to add confidence and control on rough trails.

The carbon rim is equipped with 24 double-crossed (same length) double-butted straight pull spokes for maximum power transmission and increased vertical compliance. The new lighter Infinity hub design optimizes lateral stiffness and lacing maximizes power transmission. Our Instant Drive 360 freewheel with a dual ratchet system provides quick engagement and high stiffness to help you get out of corners faster. The rear hub is compatible with optional Shimano HG9, Micro Spline and SRAM XD freehubs.

The Crossmax SL Ultimate 30 is available with Center Lock or 6-bolt brake rotors in 29" only and is compatible with a 15x110 front and 12x148 rear axle. Supplied with valves, spare spokes and MTB wheel covers.
