Since its establishment in 1997, the Italian company has focused exclusively on the racing arena, providing insights and valuable information for the development and creation of helmets.

In the year 2000, Suomy established a partnership with Ducati, one of the leading motorcycle manufacturers in the racing world. Thanks to this collaboration, the most talented Ducati riders participating in the Superbike World Championship started using Suomy helmets.

In 2001, Suomy achieved his first major result by winning his first world title with Troy Bayliss, a legend of the SBK World Championship. He subsequently confirmed his world title in 2006 and 2008. During those years, Suomy sponsored notable cyclists such as Troy Corser, Aaron Slight, Ben Bostrom, Scott Russell and Ruben Xaus. In addition, Neil Hodgson in 2003 and James Toseland in 2004 and 2007 became SBK world champions.

In 2003, Suomy became a protagonist in the 250 GP Championship with the world victory of Manuel Poggiali. The 2000s were also highlighted by Suomy''s debut in the MotoGP World Championship, thanks to the sponsorship of two world motorcycling icons: Loris Capirossi and Max Biaggi. During his long career as a Suomy ambassador, Capirossi won two SBK world championships in 2010 and 2012.

Thanks to these two victories and the recognition of its racing designs, Suomy quickly established itself as a premium brand synonymous with reliability and high performance, recognized by professional riders and motorcycle enthusiasts alike.

The Italian brand continues its growth, making important technological investments and developing a first-class Design and Research and Development department.
