Busch & Müller has been manufacturing bicycle lighting since 1925. Today, they have broken the 100 Lux barrier for dynamo headlights and offer new e-solutions for bicycles.

The designs of their products are their own, including the tools with which they are made. Injection molds used in more than 30 molding machines: Each part is made from its own mold, which ensures its supply capacity for many years.

The light source is a small LED. Only a reflector converts this point of light into a purposely directed field of light. To give light its precise direction, many calculations, measurements, and prototype experiments are required. It takes many months for a new "light design" to go into mass production. Blank reflectors are then taken and vacuum metallized with an immensely thin mirror surface made of aluminium.
