LSL was born in 1984 in a small workshop near Düsseldorf, vehicle technology engineer and company founder Jochen Schmitz-Linkweiler creates and builds very special new versions of motorcycles. The first LSL café racer was created on the basis of the legendary Yamaha SR 500 and remains a trademark of LSL to this day.

The sheer number of designs begins with the first superbike handlebar conversion on a Kawasaki GPZ 900R. From sport clip-on handlebars to curved handlebars for choppers and cruisers, LSL is dedicated to headsets in all its forms.

Later the product range was extended with steering dampers, fork bridges and footrest systems. With the Crash Pad®, LSL showcases a trendsetting implementation of the latest crash pads.
