Wippermann started producing drive chains for industry as early as 1929. Today, the Hagen-based high-tech company with approx. 300 employees develop high-quality systems for drive and conveyor technology and are among the world''s largest producers of chains and sprockets.

Connex combines more than 125 years of bicycle experience with the experience and engineering of an international chain manufacturer. It manufactures its own chains from the highest quality steel in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Before any new model is released, chains must first be thoroughly tested, withstanding the highest loads, down to the last rivet and pin, by experienced professional cyclists in extensive testing in everyday scenarios and under race conditions.
