Lubricant for forks, shock absorbers and telescopic seatposts
RideMax's "Butter Shox" synthetic lubricant creates a thin lubricating film between the fork legs and/or the main body of the shock absorbers and dropper posts to improve friction with the seals and O-rings, significantly improving the smoothness of operation.
In this case we are not talking about an oil for the fork tubes or shock absorber body, but for the seals and gaskets, which tend to dry out over time.
PROPERTIES
Lubricant for the maintenance of elastomers in general. It acts as a regenerator for gaskets and seals, maintaining the elastic properties of the rubber and increasing sealing, resulting in smoother operation while creating a barrier that reduces the entry of dirt into the seal.
It works in all types of weather conditions and on all types of suspensions.
How to use
Shake well before use. Clean the surface of the suspension or seatpost beforehand with a cloth or paper towel, never with a pressure washer to avoid pushing dirt further inside.
Apply just a few drops of Butter Shox directly to the seals or gaskets. Then, compress the suspension or seatpost several times to help the product penetrate. Wipe off any excess oil with a cloth or paper towel to prevent dirt buildup.
It can be applied intermittently, before or after each outing, or sporadically.
