Loctite 5188 Flange Sealant, highly flexible anaerobic
liquid gasket product. It is suitable for use on rigid metal, eg gearbox and motor housings, particularly where minor oil contamination of flange surfaces may occur. It air cures between tight metal surfaces and is particularly suitable for aluminum parts where very good adhesion is achieved. Immediately afterwards, the flange is sealed at low pressures (danger sealing effect).

Loctite® 5188 achieves excellent adhesion and flexibility even after heat aging and can therefore be used for the most demanding applications.
