Mares has incorporated the latest in modern regulator technology into the 28XR scuba regulator. It uses the innovative concept of a balanced diaphragm that is actuated by a double piston. It has an environmental sealing system with anti-infiltration technology (AST- Auto Sealing Technology). This also guarantees a perfect seal against the possible entry of sand or particles, especially when diving in caves or polluted waters. It also stands out in technical diving due to the possibility of taking it out in the water without flooding it. It can be used in all configurations thanks to the rotating turret with vertical low pressure port and the other 4 low pressure ports. Its flexibility allows it to be used in double cylinders, in stages and in side mount configuration.
