High-precision machining from a single piece of AISI 316 stainless steel. The one-piece construction prevents erosion and potential cuts or small tears inside the cannula that could damage the rubber band. A new sandblasted and polished finish provides a smooth, edge-free surface and improved locking. Optimal sliding for easy assembly. Integrated 7 mm diameter shrouds allow for easy assembly even on thin rubber bands with a 1 mm diameter cannula, ensuring smooth insertion without excessive pressure from the sphere at the critical point where it constricts the line. This shroud is the safest option for preventing rubber band breakage under high tension, especially with smaller diameters. The shroud's alloy makes breakage of the tab virtually impossible, as it would flex under extreme tension. The legs have a conical cross-section, tapering from 2.6 mm to just 2.0 mm at the point where it constricts the line. This design ensures a secure lock without excessive knot tightening. The rod gradually decreases in diameter to avoid machining steps. The eyelets for attaching Dyneema are completely rounded to prevent rope erosion. The outer edge of the eyelet is also rounded. It accommodates ropes up to 3 mm in diameter. Available in two sizes: 29 mm and 25 mm.
