AGUA is the latest Cressi creation in high-end fins for beginners, snorkeling and swimming with fins.
Made with the same materials as the more technical range: polypropylene for the upper and very flexible thermoplastic rubber for the foot pocket and longitudinal ribs. Polypropylene is a material inherited from professional freediving fins. It is light, resistant and its main dynamic characteristic is the rapid elastic return of the blade, which translates into a fluid, agile and effective flapping. It has a clearly higher effort/performance ratio than rubber (natural or thermoplastic), polyurethane or EVA. It also has great resistance to breakage to the point that Cressi guarantees it for life for sports use.
The extremely comfortable foot pocket is in line with the blade and transmits all the effort generated when flapping without losing energy through soft areas. This format allows the water to be channeled from the very ankle to the final edge of the blade, unlike traditional models, in which the foot pocket does not have any contribution on the advance. Reinforced in the upper area by a supplementary thickness and laterally by two polypropylene extensions from the blade to prevent energy dispersion and making the transmission of foot-blade effort direct and precise.
The interior space of the foot pocket is extremely anatomical since it has been carefully designed by computer applying thousands of measurements to configure anatomically suitable volumes. It guarantees a perfect transmission of the blade-leg force.
The completely rigid sole to avoid cramps and transmit the effort without losing energy through elastic zones. It has heat-welded non-slip inserts.
The structure of the fin places the foot housing under the upper, leaving it totally protected from possible bumps or friction against the bottom and extending the useful surface of the upper above the instep. The integrated foot pocket halfway up the blade improves hydrodynamics and balances the effectiveness of positive and negative flapping.
