AGUA SHORT enjoys all the Cressi-sub experience as a manufacturer of fins for diving and apnea since 1946 in: anatomy of the foot pockets, materials, design and production. All these processes are carried out 100% at the Cressi-sub factory in Genoa (Italy).
To highlight the proportions of the Cressi-sub base last, which is constantly evolving to adapt to the morphological variations that footwear habits have caused in the average proportions of the European foot (almost 20% in the last 30 years).
For businesses located along the coastline, the option of a highly resistant short fin is also especially interesting as a movement aid and protection for light snorkeling, especially in rocky areas.
The structure of the fin places the footpocket at half height of the blade so that the transmission of force is effective, with a progressive and pleasant finning for the swimmer. Likewise, it reduces the hydrodynamic resistance of the upper part of the foot pocket. The plant has a calculated rigidity to avoid cramps in the sole of the foot. The rear area of the foot pocket is thicker, reinforcing it, and has a tab that facilitates its placement. All the profiles in contact with the skin are rounded, for greater comfort.
AGUA SHORT combines three different materials in its structure:
Polypropylene for the upper and the sole area. This material stands out for its great lightness and resistance to saltpeter, chlorine and ozone. It is unalterable over time and maintains its performance given its great resistance. It is completely unbreakable, either by bending or twisting in any direction
Rounded reinforcing elastomer in the lower profile of the blade. Prevents erosion wear due to friction and protects other swimmers from occasional impacts
Elastomer (thermoplastic rubber) very soft and comfortable. It is applied to the upper area of the foot pocket and the lateral fin stabilization ribs during swimming.
The instep incorporates a 2 cm wide "Self adjusting" band in its center, which allows a slight dilation (2 to 4 mm depending on size) to adapt to people with a high instep. The expansion has been carefully calibrated so as not to impair the transmission of energy.
Colors: Blue and Black.
