The Beringer story began in 1985 in France when Gilbert Beringer, hobbyist and driver of road rally sidecars, decided to manufacture a range of wheels and swivel forks for his vehicles.

Beringer''s main objective is to achieve high quality to guarantee total safety to the users of its brakes. It has quality certifications: ISO 9001, UTAC, TÜV.

For Beringer there is no difference between parts intended for the general public and those intended for racing drivers. Beringer brakes are designed to withstand the rigors of competition. So you get technological advancements constantly applied to the products you buy.

Given the monopoly of Brembo (Italy) in the world market for motorcycle brake systems, replacement of stock and competition, BERINGER began to manufacture cast iron discs.
The tests and tuning were carried out in collaboration with the CETIM of Saint-Etienne.
Development of a study branch and disc prototypes for all vehicles (eg cycles, mopeds, high-end and competition cars...).
A few months after the separation of activities, Beringer Brakes moves to a new 1500m² factory in Saint Jean dArdières (Rhône, France)

The will of the new management is to internalize the activity. In 2010, the company purchased a laser machine and, a few months later, a machining center. In order to be as autonomous as possible, an anodizing line is installed in the spring of 2013. From then on, the company is almost completely autonomous, until now only the chrome and polished finishes are carried out by an external company.
