MOTUL RBF 660 is a polyglycol-based synthetic brake fluid especially for racing. Suitable for all brake systems (steel, ceramic or carbon discs) currently in racing. It can also be used in conventional brake systems and hydraulic clutches. Outperforms conventional polyglycol brake fluids (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1).
SPECIFICATIONS / STANDARDS:
STANDARDS: SAE J 1703
ISO 4925 FMVSS 116 POINT 4
SPECIAL ADVANTAGES / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
- Miscible with all DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 polyglycol based brake fluids, but not recommended,
- The extremely high dry boiling point of 328°C compared to other silicone or polyglycol based products allows safe braking even under the most extreme operating conditions.
- The very high wet boiling point of 205°C, compared to other silicone or polyglycol based products, allows safe braking even on races with high humidity or rain.
- In race conditions, the brakes are subjected to very high thermal stresses, so MOTUL RBF 660 must be checked at least after every 2 races and changed if necessary.
- Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the ambient air. This lowers the boiling point. For this reason, MOTUL RBF 660 should only be stored in constant climatic conditions, carefully closed in the original container.
WARNING: Do not mix with silicone-based brake fluids (DOT 5) and special fluids such as LHM. The liquid can attack the paint of the vehicle.
