Pro Series Engine Timing Plugs

RFX Pro Series Engine Throttle Plugs are 7075-T6 aluminum for greater dimensional stability in high pressure and hot conditions. CNC machining to tighter manufacturing tolerances helps these plugs stay in position better than standard plastic plugs, which are prone to failure.

RFX Engine Plugs also feature convenient 8mm and 6mm hex heads for easy installation.

Assembly instructions

Remove the old oil plug, which is usually plastic and removed with a large flat head wrench.

Remove the o-ring from your original plug, clean it, and put it back on the new plug.

Clean the threads of the hole being careful not to get dirt inside.

Fit the new oil plug and tighten it with the correct hex key.
