Extension of the OBD connection

On-Board Diagnostics is a standardized and open interface for programming vehicle functions, vehicle components and reading data from the vehicle when the vehicle is stationary or during test drives.

The power outlet is preferably factory-installed under the dash, alternatively in the center console behind panels or compartments or covers within reach of the driver's seat.
