The high stress on modern street machines led to the development of XW-ring chains. The XW ring has six sealing points, and two stabilizers that prevent ring rotation in extreme conditions. Loss of lubricant is then prevented under all conditions - life is extended by up to 50% compared to an O-ring chain.
